I like JO nails

Just a girl trying out nail art. All images are my nails, however most designs are inspired by other nail artists. Thanks for stopping by!
It’s been quite some time since I last posted…I just haven’t been inspired to paint my nails :[ Hopefully I can get back on track with this mani! The 4th of July is tomorrow and this is my addition to the red, white, and blue craze.
How do you feel about my watercolor/tie dye stripes? I love them and I hope you do too! I especially love the glitter bomb that is Serum No5’s What a Blast because IT GLOWS IN THE DARK. YES.

Yesterday, after 5 long years of work, I graduated college! I got my BA in Design and I’m so incredibly happy to be done. These are my nails from yesterday’s commencement ceremony :] GO BEACH!

Soooo you would think that I gave up painting my nails for Lent like I did last year…but I didn’t! I was so swamped with my senior project that I was just completely unable to paint them for the past month and a half.

I’m so happy to be back into my groove and painting pretty pastels! These nails were done following mrcandiipants's autumn floral tutorial, and they kinda feel like wisteria, don't they? I've used this tutorial previously and I loved it so I used it again. I adore how spring-y these nails feel!

Happy Valentine’s day lovelies! This stunning polish is by Polished by KPT and ughhhh I ADORE IT. Plumeria is a thermal polish that transitions from white/silver when warm to a plum pink when cold!

And a side note to all my single ladies out there: it’s better to be single and happy on days like this than taken and miserable. Have a beautiful day everyone!

I’m so glad that I finally painted my nails! I’ve been so tired because I started my last semester of undergrad and I’ve been uninspired to paint my nails. This is my attempt at a Valentine’s Day ombre, and I think I did okay! I’m especially loving the Hare polish I have on my middle finger. It’s so lovely :]

So I’m pretty much two weeks late for a first of the year mani but whatever lol. I wanted something soft and neutral for my first manicure of 2014 and these are on point for me.

ALSO! I just realized that it’s my 2-year anniversary of jumping into the nail game. Time files! Just goes to show that practice goes a long way :]

I was supposed to do a manicure every week for December, but the week of Christmas was too hectic so that fell through. But this is my last manicure of 2013 and oh I love it! This design is my take on one of my favorite nail gals on instagram, lafemmelulu! If you’re not following her, you should be.

Anyways, Happy New Year everyone! May 2014 be even better than 2013 ever was :]

Another week in December means another Christmas mani. This one is much simpler than the last and I love it. Simple and clean is definitely my style.

Christmas plaid! This ended up being a lot busier than I imagined, but that’s okay. Still fun and festive :] Plaid pattern was done using mrcandiipants's tutorial!

Before I ever started nail art, Hare Polish was the first indie nail polish I came across. It was something that I was determined to eventually own, and now I can say that I do! I’m so happy that the first indie polish brand I saw is the first indie brand that I own.
